The LSU Game

The talk is about Auburn's league leading offense against LSU's league leading defense. Our offense is averaging about twice as much yardage as their defense is giving up. Some people think LSU will pack the box to stop the run and make Cam Newton win the game passing. Maybe so. But Cam can throw the ball, and we have receivers like Darvin Adams (whom most commentators seem to have never heard of), Emory Blake, and Terrell Zachary. Plus, CN can still scramble against a stacked defensive front.

One thing is that the Auburn-LSU game is known for close games and interesting things happening. Who can forget the fire in 1996?

We take them one game at a time and see what happens. At least so far it's been a nice ride. Who would have thought we would be 7 & 0 anyway?
