Game Week

It's finally game week.  Time to get excited, but I am still low-key.  I've been here many times before and I've learned that we can never predict what is going to happen against Louisville or in the season as a whole.  My only thought is that this will be a tough opening game and it will go one way or the other in a close one.  The Tigers are a 10.5 point favorite.

Bert Bielema

At a fan event in Springdale yesterday, Bert Bielema said, "I hate Auburn."  Until now, my feelings about Bert were subdued.  But now, I have had enough.  I have nothing against Arkansas or Arkansas fans.  Rather, my vitriol is aimed solely at Bert.  I yelled in glee when we beat him in Fayetteville in 2013.  I am even more eager for the trip there this year.  He is 0-2 versus Auburn, so I don't know why he runs his mouth.  I hope Auburn goes to Fayetteville this year and puts a whooping on Bert!


(Like many Auburn fans, henceforth I will refer to the Arkansas coach as "Bert.")

Duke is back with the team.  Jovon Robinson is third on the running back depth chart.  This is the first interesting news we've had from fall camp.

Fall Practice

Fall practice starts today.  I try not to think about it.  All of the preseason talk amounts to nothing.  I noticed that Auburn is preseason #7 in the coaches poll.  Once again, it means nothing.
