Beating Alabama

Regardless of how this basketball season turns out, this is high times for Auburn basketball.  We have the best coach we could possibly have.  Recruiting hasn't been this good since the Chuck Person/Charles Barkley days in the 80's.  I cannot imagine it could be any better than it is now.  The record so far isn't as good as last year when we won the SEC regular season but this is still a team that play with anybody on a given night.

We watched with pleasure last night as the Tigers beat Alabama 84 to 63 on ESPN2 in Auburn Arena.    When the Tigers hit the threes and play defense, they are tough to handle.  It will be even better when the big guy, Austin Wiley, returns after a leg injury.

Maybe we'll make a run in the tournament.  Regardless this is a good time for Auburn basketball.
