The Auburn nation was stunned by the deaths of Rod Blamblett and his wife in a tragic auto accident. How sad. He was a great one. I go back to Buddy Rutledge followed by Gary Sanders, Jim Fyffe, and Blamblett. Like most schools, Auburn doesn't change lead play by play announcers often.
We don't get to listen to the baseball broadcasts so we won't be able to hear how different it will be when Auburn begins NCAA play in Atlanta playing Coastal Carolina. Paul Ellen will be there. Who else, I do not know.
Things can change quickly with Auburn as with other schools.
