The Baseball Team

The Auburn baseball team loses 2 of 3 this weekend at home.  It is going to be a long season.  I follow AU baseball because it is the game I think I understand the most.  Also it is something to think about before the start of the next football season given also that the basketball program under the currnt coach is moribund.  So sad.

Embarassing Loss

Auburn loses at home to Vanderbilt 67 to 59 while blowing a 16-point first half lead.  Vandy has a depleted roster, having to play 2 walk-ons.  This should do its for Barbee.  This is one of the most embarassing basketball losses in Auburn history.  I see no way to understand this.

92 to 82

We are all home to see the Tigers beat Mississippi State 92 to 82 in the Auburn Arena.  That's 4 conference wins so far.  I doubt there will be many more this year under Tony Barbee.
