The Arkansas game brings back lots of memories---mostly bad! I remember the losses to this team much more than the wins. It seems like since Arkansas joined the SEC in 1992 this team has been our greatest nemesis, even more than Alabama.
If we lose, we'll think Arkansas again, one more time, beats us like they've done in the past. There is a feeling that sooner or later Auburn will lose a game. I can't imagine going undefeated thru this schedule. So if we lose people can say, well, it was inevitable that sooner or later this team would lose one.
If we win we'll go "whew!" and move on to LSU with still the feeling that we'll lose one eventually. We keep hearing that Auburn has yet to put together 4 quarter of quality football on both sides of the ball. This team has yet to put it all together. This team may never put it all together this season: there is no guarantee that this will happen. But maybe it will. This Saturday would be a good time to do so!
