Starkville

After starting the season beating Arkansas State 52 to 26, the Tigers are in Starkville for a Thursday night ESPN game. The game is expected to be a big challenge for our team. Most people people expect an offensive shootout. MSU scored 49 points against Memphis last Saturday. At least it won't be 3 to 2 as in two years ago. That was one of the most miserable games I have ever witnessed. More often than not Auburn wins this game. This is not a memorable series. The key is whether our defense improves. Phillip Marshall points out that the defense gave up only 110 yards in the second half against Arkansas State after getting shredded in the first half. I predict Auburn will win 41 to 38.
