I'm just glad to beat those guys. Our defense is interesting. It gives up chunks of yardage but seems to rise up when it needs to. So many times it seems that we let opponents get into scoring position and then we hold them to a field goal. The offense shows signs of greatness, then we have 3 and outs and fumble.
In this game we saw the scrambling and running ability of Nick Marshall. Our passing must improve though. We saw the raw ability of Carl Lawson at defensive end. We have a good group of freshmen. I hope that our injured are back soon.
After Western Carolina we'll be 5 and 1. We'll see what happens after that.
