Catching Up - The Florida Game

A lot has happened since last Saturday. Freddy and I went to the Arkansas game. We had a good time except for the outcome of the game. The Tigers lead 14 to 7 but then get routed the rest of the way. Arkansas 38 Auburn 14. I will remember that TD run by Dyer because he ran to the end zone right in front of us. And unfortunately I will remember their 92 yard TD as their back ran away from us because of a holding call that wasn't made. We saw Bud Walton Arena and talked to a nice Arkansas fan inside the arena. I will remember that drive on I-540 from I-40 up to Fayetteville. What an incredible highway, through beautiful Ozark mountains, but so isolated.

Today we are back at home with a 4 and 2 record playing Florida. The game is considered a tossup. The Gators are coming off two big losses with Alabama and LSU. Both teams desperately need a win. This can still be a good Auburn football season.

After last week's game we've had much talk about the QB position. Barrett Trotter has not looked good. We are told that he is still the starter. Clint Mosely hasn't been given a chance. It's easy to think that Mosely must be awful to not be given a chance. Will he play today if Trotter continues to struggle?
