Tom Watson - So Close!

Normally I don't pay much attention to professional golf. Then today I received an email update from the NY Times that said Tom Watson was in a playoff with Stewart Cink. I knew that the 59-yr. old Watson was leading the field going into the final round today. I turned the TV on to watch the playoff. Unfortunately Watson bogied the 18th in regulation to force the playoff. But then in the 4-hole playoff, Watson falls apart and loses the British Open. I found myself so hoping that this 59-yr. old would win this major golf tournament. We 59-yr. olds need to pull for one another!
