This morning has the feel of Fall as I drive to and from Shipley. It's still summer, but that time of year I live for is finally here.
Last night I saw Pelham overrun Oak Mountain 38 to 16. The Panthers look good, rebounding from that loss to Hueytown. I just hope they are competitive in the region.
There is nothing more to be said about 6 p.m. I've learned from experience that no one knows what will happen in a first game of the season. I've also learned from experience not to expect too much from a first game of the season. Auburn should win the game. That is all I know to say for sure. We shall see what happens.
