Beating Texas Southern

With Freddy home we had intended to go to the game in Auburn to experience the new arena but threat of inclement weather kept us home.  We watched the game streaming on ESPN3.  After trailing most of the game the Tigers pull out a 61 to 60 win.  A win is a win.

Beating Xavier

Last night we caught the last half of Auburn beating Xavier 89 to 88 in double overtime.  It was exciting to see the Tigers win a big one.  This program is on the upswing with Coach Pearl.

Jakell Mitchell

Yesterday I woke up hearing first thing that Coach Muschamp was our new DC.  Today I wake up hearing first thing that freshman football player Jakell Mitchell has been shot to death at an Auburn apartment complex.  How sad.

Boom!

Freddy calls first thing on this lovely Saturday morning.  Malzahn has landed his man.  Will Muschamp returns to the Plains as our DC.  How exciting!!!

We Wait

We wait to see who our next DC will be.  In the meantime, we know that we will play Wisconsin in the Outback Bowl on January 1.
